【Mrefilter】Is it necessary to replace the fuel filter in the vehicle?

If it is necessary for the vehicle to replace the fuel filter, the fuel filter replacement cycle is generally 10,000 kilometers.

How to replace the fuel filter:
1. First, pull out the vehicle key, and then disconnect the vehicle's fuel pump fuse or disconnect the vehicle's power supply to avoid pumping gasoline when the fuel pump is operating when the fuel pump is removed. Then remove the seat cushion of the rear seat and the cover plate on the oil pump, and the oil pump assembly can be seen at this time;
2. The oil pump assembly is fixed by a black snap ring. You need to remove the wire plug and the oil pipe on the oil pump and use a special tool to remove the snap ring. After removing the snap ring, the oil pump assembly can be taken out;
3. Replace the new gasoline filter element assembly with the corresponding parts on the old gasoline filter element, and install the fuel pump assembly with the replaced fuel filter back into the fuel tank. It is best to apply petroleum jelly on the sealing rubber ring of the fuel pump for lubrication, to avoid the leakage of fuel or fuel gas due to the leak of the sealing rubber after the sealing rubber ring is twisted;
4. Then, install the fixed snap ring of the oil pump, and use a special tool to pre-tighten the snap ring according to the standard torque in the maintenance manual. Finally, install the fuel pump line plug and the fuel pipe on the fuel pump to check whether there is a leak. If there is no leak, install the seat, if there is a leak, reinstall the sealing rubber ring.
