【Mrefilter】How to replace the fuel pump

Fuel pump replacement method：
1、Prepare relevant tools and place the vehicle on a level indoor ground；The ignition switch is in the OFF position；Pull the parking brake, install the wheel block, clean up the debris in the car, and place the fire extinguisher in an easy-to-reach place；
2、Remove the rear seat cushion, and gently pry up the inspection hole cover after removal. Do not use brute force. Connect the wiring harness underneath. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remember to wrap the unplugged tubing with plastic wrap to prevent dirt from entering. Remember the original installation location；
3、Disconnect the power supply of the oil pump, start the engine several times and it is OK. There is a lot of dirt on the upper and edges of the fuel pump assembly, which can be wiped clean with a rag. To disassemble the fuel pump, use a screwdriver with protective tape on the head to unhook the two claws and remove the No. 1 suction pipe bracket；
4、Use a screwdriver with a protective tape on the head to release the two claws on the fuel pressure regulator and the claws on the fuel pump filter bracket. Remove the fuel pump filter, disconnect the fuel pump filter hose, take out the fuel pump, press the lower end locking buckle with your hand, disconnect the fuel pump wiring harness, remove the fuel pump 0-ring, and place the fuel pump in the clean parts tray；
5、Take out the wiring harness from the fuel suction pipe assembly, use a screwdriver with protective tape on the head to pry out the fuel pressure regulator, and remove the two O-rings from the pressure regulator assembly. Place in the clean parts tray；
6、During installation, the steps are restored and need to be checked. Check whether the fuel pump is leaking, check the fuel pump pressure, install the manhole cover after installation, and install the rear seat cushion.

Judgment criteria for automobile fuel pump failure：
1、Get in the car and listen with your ears at the fuel port. If you hear a "buzzing" sound, there is a problem with the gasoline pump；
2、The reason：It may be the friction noise caused by the aging of the gasoline pump, or the noise caused by the blockage of the gasoline pump filter；
3、If it must be replaced, it mostly refers to the built-in gasoline filter in the fuel tank, which can be replaced once every 40,000 kilometers.
