【Mrefilter】When will the fuel filter be replaced

Automobile fuel filters are generally replaced once every 60,000 kilometers：
1、There are three types of fuel filter: diesel filter, gasoline filter and natural gas filter. The function of the fuel filter is to prevent particles, water and impurities in the fuel, and to ensure that the precision parts of the fuel system are protected from wear and other damage；
2、The fuel filter is connected in series on the pipeline between the fuel pump and the throttle body inlet. The function of the fuel filter is to remove the iron oxide, dust and other solid impurities contained in the fuel, prevent the fuel system from clogging, especially the fuel injector, reduce mechanical wear, ensure stable engine operation, and improve reliability；
3、The EFI filter cannot be used in common with the carburetor filter. Because the EFI filter often bears the fuel pressure of 200,300KPA, the pressure resistance of the filter is generally required to reach 500KPA or more, and the carburetor filter does not need to reach such a high pressure.。

The method of replace the fuel filter：
1、Open all the cushions of the rear trunk, you can find a black cover, open with a Phillips screwdriver, you can find the fuel pump body. The plug on the left is the wire, and the right is the oil circuit. First unplug the left plug, then start the car several times, the purpose is to remove the oil pressure from the oil circuit；
2、The oil circuit plug on the right is a quick connector, which can be pinched out by pressing both sides, but even though the oil pressure is removed, a lot of oil still leaks. But it doesn’t matter. Next to it is the chassis of the car. The screws on the side are removed with a No. 8 sleeve, and the screws should be installed on the opposite corners during the final installation to ensure a good seal；
3、It is best to make a straight line mark on the white area corresponding to the cylinder body before taking it out to prevent misalignment when reinstalling. The black steel ring is for pressing the oil pump assembly, and there is a sealing ring underneath. Make sure that the sealing ring is installed before reinstalling；
4、Put the fuel pump assembly with the replaced fuel filter back into the fuel tank. It is best to apply petroleum jelly on the sealing rubber ring of the fuel pump to avoid leakage of fuel or fuel gas due to the leaking of the sealing rubber after the sealing rubber ring is twisted. Then, install the fixed snap ring of the oil pump, and use special tools to pre-tighten the snap ring according to the standard torque in the manual；
5、Install the fuel pump cable plug and the fuel pipe on the fuel pump to check whether there is a leak. If there is no leak, install the seat, if there is a leak, reinstall the sealing rubber ring；
