1. Release water
I believe that many friends are not unfamiliar with the drain of the fuel water separator. Unscrew the drain valve under the fuel water separator and drain the water. The fuel water separator with automatic drainage function is even simpler. As long as the alarm signal is received, you can press the water release button in the cab to release the water. After the water is discharged, the water release valve will be automatically closed, which can ensure that the water in the fuel water separator is discharged in time. But the release of water is not as simple as we think. In fact, there are a lot of things that need attention. Now let's talk about what should be paid attention to when draining water from the fuel water separator.

1、The water must be released in time. During routine maintenance every day, look at the fuel water separator. If there is too much water in it or if it exceeds the warning line, we must release the water in time.
2、Water release is regular. First of all, after the fuel is consumed, the water in the fuel water separator needs to be discharged in time. Secondly, after replacing the fuel filter, the water in the fuel water separator should be released in time.
3、Don't forget to add oil after draining the water. After draining the water in the fuel water separator, you must remember to perform the oil filling operation of the fuel pump until the fuel pump is full.

2. Pay attention to the heat preservation of the fuel water separator in cold weather
1、Add thick cotton to the fuel water separator. In the northern region, some users will heat the fuel water separator in order to prevent the fuel water separator from being damaged by freezing, that is, wrap it with a layer of insulation material.
2、Choose fuel water separator with electric heating function. This can not only prevent the fuel water separator from freezing, but also prevent the diesel from waxing.

1、When choosing an fuel water separator, be sure to choose equipment produced by a regular manufacturer. Regular manufacturers will provide reliable after-sales service when the products are sold, and the warranty time is relatively long. Of course, the quality is relatively good.
2、When selecting equipment, pay attention to its entire parameters, models and specifications. Different types of catering sewage require different fuel water separators. Choose equipment according to your own sewage conditions. In order to ensure the fuel supply of the entire engine system, the additional fuel water separator model must have a larger displacement than the original car.
3、When using the fuel water separator, you must pay attention to the timely release of water. If there is too much water, the fuel water separator will not play the role of fuel water separation. The filter cup under the fuel water separator is equipped with a water level sensor. When the water level reaches a certain value, the computer display on the dashboard will indicate that there is water, and the fuel water separator must drain.  
4、In the north, many users put thick cotton on the fuel water separator to prevent the fuel water separator from freezing. However, for the sake of safety, it is recommended to use an fuel water separator with electric heating function.
