【Meiruier FIlter】Oil filter maintenance and replacement

The oil filter is in the engine lubrication system. Although isolated from the outside world, the impurity in the surrounding environment is difficult to enter the engine,  there are still impurities in the oil.

These impurities increase the gap between parts, oil demand, oil pressure drop, and the cylinder liner and piston ring gap, the oil to the top of the piston ring, resulting in burning oil and increase the amount of oil and the formation of carbon deposition. While the fuel to the sump, so that oil thinning, oil failure. These are very adverse to the performance of the machine, causing the engine to take black smoke, a serious decline in power, forcing overhaul ahead.

After using the filter for a certain time, the filter will be attached to a lot of dirt, it should be replaced regularly filter. In general, the oil filter and oil should be replaced at the same time. This will help to extend the service life of the engine.

Regular use of the car, each running 7500km, should replace the oil filter. In harsh conditions, such as frequent driving in the dusty roads, should be replaced every 5000km

The replacement of Oil filter
1, When you purchase oil filter for your car ,please pay attention that each car has a specified oil filter .
2, There is a rubber oil white seal ring in the oil filter installation site. There is a plastic film cover in the new oil filter to prevent the rubber seal ring to adhere dirt. When you remove the plastic film cover from the oil filter , it should be thinly coated with oil If the rubber oil seal ring is dry,.
3, There are many forms oil filter wrench. This is the overlying wrench to cover the head of the oil filter, once a rotation, you can remove the oil filter easily.
4, In order to prevent oil spill, you should take out the oil filter from entrance ,when you use wrench to remove the oil filter,
5,Fixing the new oil filter on the engine. When you Install it, you should use hand to screw the new oil filter, after the rubber seal positioning, you should use a special tool to tighten the oil filter clockwise. Tightening revolutions : turn 7/8 circles clockwise. Tightening torque: 16 lb.ft (22Nm). After installation, add oil to engine until it up to the specified level, running the engine at least 3 minutes, and then check the oil if leakage.
