Diesel engine use the whole full-flow oil filter, which cascades in the oil circuit, the filter is not removable. When the oil impurities plug the filter hole, you must replace the filter. Under the shell , there is a spring supporting the filter element, the oil enters from the periphery of the shell, and filtered out of the center by the filter element. The end face of the shell is equipped with a rubber sealing ring with a screw hole in the middle. The whole oil filter is in contact with the seat, and a bypass valve is arranged on the seat to prevent the diesel engine from being lubricated when the filter plug is blocked. When the pressure acting on the bypass valve exceeds 0.098MPa, the bypass valve will open, and the oil goes directly to the oil passage without the filter element to ensure the smooth delivery of oil.
1. In order to prevent the false demolition damage to the filter and its accessories, you need to remove the filter with special maintenance tools. After disassembly, you need to clean the filter seat carefully, heat exchanger and filter, especially the heat exchanger oil passage. And, you need to replace the seal ring in contact with the base of the filter every time the filter.
2. Put the air compressed air with .1MPa pressure of 0 into the heat exchanger, then observe the oil and waterways if there is any leakage. If it is, you should replace it, too.
3. Before installing the filter, you need to check and clean the filter mounting surface. Firstly, you need to apply a layer of oil on the sealing ring and screw the filter onto the mounting surface of the accessory box filter by hand until it comes into contact with the sealing ring, and then use a special tool with a torque of 55N.m tight it.
4. After the completion of the filter assembly, you need check the diesel engine oil quantity. If not enough, it should be supplemented by the required standards; and then start the diesel engine to see whether there is oil leakage.
