【Meiruier Filter】Oil filter and oil leakage problem

Oil filter,  also known as oil grid. To remove dust , metal particles, carbon deposit and soot particles and other impurities in the oil, protect the engine.

Oil filter is divided into the full flow filter, split filter. Full flow filter is connected in series between the oil pump and the main oil channel, it can filtrate all lubricating oil in the main oil channel. Split filter and main oil channel parallel connection, only filtrate part of the oil out of the oil pump.

Composition and characteristics of oil filter oil filter
1.    Filter Paper
Oil filter, the filter paper is higher than the air filter. Oil temperature change from 0-300 degrees, high quality oil filter paper, to be able to change in severe temperature, filter impurities, while ensuring sufficient flow.
Poor quality oil filter paper with cotton pulp, filtering effect is poor, is easy to decompose and dissolve in oil, oil channel blockage, accelerate oil deterioration, even without a filter core, accelerating engine damage.
2.    Filter rubber sealing ring
High quality oil filter sealing ring is made of special rubber, to ensure that 100% does not leak oil.
Good oil filter, in the case of normal installation, will not leak. Inferior filter oil leakage problem is serious.
3.    Filter return valve
Return valve, also known as return valve. When the engine is off, it can prevent the engine oil filter from becoming dry. When the engine is reignited, the engine can be produced at once. Maintain the engine lubrication system pressure, reduce wear and tear. Inferior oil filter without check valve, to speed up the wear of engine.
4.    Filter relief valve
Overflow valve, also known as bypass valve. When the outside temperature is reduced to a specific values,  or when the oil filter beyond the normal period, the relief valve will be opened in a special pressure, let not the filtered oil flow directly into the engine and lubrication of the friction parts. So the relief valve is the key to protect the engine in an emergency. 
Replace the oil filter regularly (oil filter should be changed every time), to avoid the overflow valve to open and accelerate the engine damage. Inferior oil filter without overflow valve, under special circumstances, without lubricating oil supply, will result in an engine cylinder, overhaul, or even scrapped.

The problem of oil leakage after changing the oil filter
1. For spin-on filters, if rotary force is too large, more than the standard 20-60 Newton it will make damage. The right way of installing, with 2 kg of hand screw installation, do not use a wrench to install; if rotating force of more than 2.5 kg, it is easy to cause the sealing ring deformation, along the circumference of the generating process of the starting point, the high-pressure airflow under the impact, resulting in a gap and leakage.
2. Old oil filters the contact plane is not clean.
3. When dismantle the old oil filters, due to the previous rotation force is too large, the old sealing ring stuck in the filter seat, the new oil filter installed after the oil spill.
4. The lubrication system is heavily polluted, the heavy oil fouling is blocked by the main oil channel (or the seal oil is blocked after the overhaul), resulting in internal pressure, the impact of the sealing ring lead to oil leakage.
5. For eco-paper element, most of them is the sealing ring of the guide rod is not discharged, and a new sealing ring is installed.  
6. When changing eco-paper element, do not change the new sealing ring inside. 
7. For eco-paper element, for the outer ring (large) is still too much rotation force, causing serious deformation or hidden injury, the work under the pressure of the impact of oil spills.
