【Meiruier Filter】How to clean air filter

When the automobile drives to the interval mileage that the air filter regulates, or when the air filter blocking indicator lights alarms( whaterer mileage it drives) , it needs to clean the air filters.

1.Clean the air filter element. Loose the hasp of the air filter, take the nut of the fixed element, take out the element after taking off the cover. Be careful about the impurities falling into the carburetor after taking out the element. Clean the inside and outside of the filter using the cloth with oil
Check the extent of the element that being polluted and then clean. When is the dirt is the dry dust, it can use the compressed air which the pressure is less than 500Kpa to clean from the inside of the element, blowing the dust equably from oblique angle . If there is no compressed air, it can tap the element opener handle lightly and then use hairbrush to clean the dust

When clean the air filter, not to beat it forcefully or hit the element. If the element is destroyed when cleaning, it should change the element timely. The element should be changed according to the interval mileage.

2.Check the after cleaned element of the air filter, Lighten the spotlight into the inside of the element to check whether there is any damage of the new element, small hole or any thinner part, check whether there is damage about the rubber gasket. If there is any abnormity, it should change the element and gasket.

3. Change the element of the air filter. Change the element according to the regulation of each type. When changing, be careful about whether there is damage of the element and the gasket. If there is any damage, it should assort

4.Install the air filter. After the element is cleaned,install each part according to opposite order of taking off the element. Installing the element reliably, it is not good to use your hand or tool t o touch the paper, especially it can not let the oil pollute the element.

Before installing the air inflow tube, it should guarantee the sealingness, especially the sealingness of the protecting gasket in the air inflow.

When maintaining the air filters, it should check the state of connecting rubber tube of the air filter. If there is any crack or aging or some other phenomenon, it needs to change the rubber tube timely.

Clean air filter, change the element when necessary
Automobile engine is a very precise part, tiny impurities can lead to the wearing of the engine. So before the air entering to the cylinder, it needs to be filtrated by the filter. The air filter is the guardian of the engine, the state of the air filter relates to the lifetime of engine.
If use dirty filters when driving, it will lead to the insufficiency of the air inflow to the engine. And then lead to the instability of the engine, increasing the oil consumption. So we should keep the air filter clean

In normal conditions, you have make it clean and give them maintenance ofter traveling 7500-8000KM. In the larger dust area air filter maintenance interval should be shortened accordingly.
New car widely uses dry air cleaner, dry air filter cartridge which is produced by microporous filter through the resin processing. It has the characteristics of good filtering effect and convenient maintenance,. Due to different models, the structure of the shape is different. But the air filter maintenance method is basically the same. In the maintenance of the air cleaner, should follow the provisions of the use of automobile mileage.
