【Meiruier Filter】 Engine filter common sense

Engine filter can divide into three types :oil filter, air filter and fuel filter, plus cabin filter, usually called as "Four filter." Each filter separately burden filtration on the engine system medium.

Oil Filter
Oil filter is located in the engine lubrication system. Filter functions as following : filter out impurities from the oil pan 、supply the motion accessory to the engine in clean oil that it can have lubricating, cooling and cleaning effect, prolong engine life.
Oil filter replacement cycle
Depending on driving traffic, every 5000-10000 km that you need replace oil filter again.

Air filter
Air filter is air purification device, which consists of housing and filter element composition. In order to increase the amount of intake air, air filter housing are generally larger. After the air cleaner filter, it can prevent air dust、sand and etc into the engine resulting wear and can protect engine work effectively.
Air filter replacement cycle
If filter element blockage serious, it will lead to higher intaking resistance pressure, decrease engine power, then produce carbon deposition. Usually you have to check the air filter element, Depending on driving traffic, every 5000-10000 km that you need replace oil filter again.

Fuel Filter
Fuel filter is acting on the engine combustion systems, filter is string in the throttle body and fuel pump into the pipeline between the oil port. The main function of the fuel filter is filtering out the impurities contained, preventing blocking of the fuel system, reducing the mechanical wear, and then to ensure the engine can normal operation.
Fuel filter replacement cycle
The fuel filter should be replaced every 20,000 km. If the oil is poor with poor road conditions , accordingly , the filter need to short the replacement cycle.

Cabin filter
Cabin filter is also known as "pollen filter" that can work on filtering impurities in the air conditioning system of the engine to prevent dust, pollen and other impurities in the air, pollution caused by the internal air conditioning system, the protection of the people in the car.
Cabin filter replacement cycle
Car cabin filter, under normal circumstances, every 10,000 km in need of replacement and maintenance. If the air environment is poor, you need shorten the filter maintenance cycle.
