Normally, all parts of the engine work regularly through the oil lubrication, but the metal clastics which caused by the operation by all the parts, the in-coming dust, oxy-genatedcarbon deposit under the high temperature, part of steam will confuse into oil, which will reduce the normal lifetime of the oil and even will affect the normal operation of the engine
So the function of oil filter comes out. Simply the function of oil filter is to filtrate most of the impurities in the oil and keep the oil clean and then prolong the lifetime. What’s more, oil filter should have nature of high-efficient filtration, low circulation resistance and prolong the lifetime
Oil filter is mainly made of element and housing. There are also sealing ring, spring, bypass valve and other parts. The function of the bypass valve is when the element has failed the function because of the over impurities, oil will flow into the engine by bypass valve to lubricate. The tearing and installing of oil filter is done in 4S shop, owners usually don’t change by themselves. When changing, the car will be lift up by lifting jack and then unscrew the cover to store oil. After the old oil discharged, using wrench to unscrew the oil filter, install the new oil filter when there is no leakage of the oil inside the car. When installing, machinist will paint a layer of oil on the new oil filter in order to achieve better sealing function
5.The pros and cons of oil filter to distinguish method.
1.Appearance: delicate appearance ,rough points.
Poor quality oil filter, the shell surface printing is relatively rough and the font is usually blurred. Genuine oil filter surface is very clear and the paint on the surface texture is very good. Careful friends through the comparison is still relatively easy to see the difference.
2.Filter paper: the filter capacity
Fake engine oil filter impurities ability is poor which is mainly reflected on the filter paper. Filter paper will affect the oil normal circulation . If the filter paper is too loose, it will result in a large number of unfiltered impurities continue with the oil flow. After a long time, it wil result in engine parts for dry friction or excessive wear.
3. Bypass valve: the auxiliary role of the sub
Bypass valve, when the filter paper is blocked due to excessive impurities, the device used to transport oil for emergency. However, most of the built-in bypass valve of the oil filter is not obvious, so when the filter paper is invalid, the oil can not be transported in time, will lead to the engine parts dry friction.
