Oil Filter is used to remove the metal debris and kinds of impurities in the oil, so as not to make it into the lubrication system to wear parts. After using it a long time, there will gather lots of sludge and metal debris, which will result in filter clogging and effecting the normal operation of the lubrication system. At this point, we should replace the oil filter in time.
It’s widely used on the full-flow oil filter in the modern vehicles. This kind of filter has a good filter effect,small oil flowing resistance and ease of use and many other advantages. The replacement operation for this filter is relatively simple.
Prepare the filter for replacement
First of all, making the car frame high, so that it can put oil easier. Placing the oil pan into the oil drain plug of the engine oil pan, remove the oil drain plug and drain the oil.
Filter cartridge disassembly
Remove the filter element after the old oil drain. Please pay more attend when operating, pay more attention about the oil leakage to avoid making the engine dirty and effecting the operation environment. Prepare the same filter element. First put a layer of oil on the O-ring, then fix the element until it can’t move at all. Do not tighten the filter wrench to prevent damage to the O-ring, resulting in oil spills.
Start the engine, in the idle case,please check if the oil has leak or not. If the filter is found to have leaks, the oil seal should be dismantled, excluding oil leakage.
