Air filter is used to remove air into the cylineder in the dust and sand, to purify the air and reduce the engine to wear. Maintaining good air filter is a key role on prolonging the engine life.
Nowdays, it is widely usded dry air cleaner for truck engine.Under bad circumstances, we should install a secondary dry-type air cleaner or oil-bath air filter. In this way,it can make the engine work effeciency and ensure its stability.
Dry air cleaner is the filter to filter the dust or sand through the paper element directly. The material of filter is filter paper, non-woven fabria.
Oil bath air cleaner
Oil bath air cleaner is filled with a certain amount of oil within the housing.
When the engine is operating, the air will flow from the lid in a high speed, due to the inertia effect, the larger dust will be thrown into the oil and absorbed, the lighter dust will be abhered to the filter net. The the air filtered will flow through the tube to carburetor, to complete the filter work.
