When the rate is larger than the ratio, filters can work normally; when the rate is the same as ratio, we should maintain the filters; when rate is smaller than the ratio, the filter cannot be used , otherwise the engine should be damaged a lot, even cannot be used any more.

When the air filter cartridge was blocked, cannot satisfy the required air flow, the engine working situation will be abnormal, such as the roar of nausea, accelerate retardation (intake is insufficient to make the cylinder pressure enough) and unable to work (due to the mixture too thick and combustion incomplete), water temperature is relatively high (into the exhaust stroke combustion still continues), and accelerate exhaust smoke thickened. When these symptoms occur, we can judge that air filter clogging should be promptly remove the filter element for maintenance or replacement.
